MCHA Campus I (2411 - 4th Street NW) is looking for a professional willing to learn about and enhance our Fully Implemented Academic Montessori Program and to join our culturally and educationally diverse team. This is a great position for individuals who want to light up their Montessori soul and looking for an academic environment to learn and grow in. We have a position for Campus Lead . We are looking for child development professional who is looking for a wonderful challenge and experience with a reputable Montessori organization. The successful candidate needs to hold their Montessori certification or be willing to take Montessori courses and workshops.
The individuals will also need 3 years of leadership experience in a Montessori facility or reputable Early Childhood facility and have a passion for working with children 19 months up to 6 years of age, and support and lead a team of 16 wonderful team members. We are looking for the right individual who is professional, have strong work ethics, are willing to make a personal investment in MCHA, Montessori, and the team through their time and growth. The successful candidates must be coachable, collaborative, hard-working, and can invest in the MCHA vision. This individual must be responsible, dependable, and be willing to give what is necessary for the team, campus, and the children.
Qualifications:
Obtain the necessary Montessori certifications to fulfil the requirements of a position with MCHA.
Early Childhood Educator certification in Alberta* Must hold a level 3*
Must have 3 years of leadership experience
Current First Aid certification
Current and valid Criminal Record Check
Must be willing to work an 8-hour rotating shift. Shifts will change every Monday
Flexibility to attend after-hour functions such as team meetings, parent nights etc.
Ability to work with and support the Montessorians and Guides
Strong planning skills
Motivated
Self-initiating
Ability to follow the child
Material Making

Working in a Montessori is more than an 8 to 5 job it is a career to be proud of.
Able to work an 8-hour rotating shift between 7am and 6pm, schedule rotations are every week. We do not offer any permanent shifts.
