Position Overview

As an Early Childhood Educator in a support role, you will assist in implementing developmentally appropriate activities and fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment. You will help ensure smooth daily operations while supporting the learning and development of toddlers.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities for toddlers. Support a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Monitor children's progress and communicate with families as needed. Collaborate with team members to maintain program quality. Help with administrative duties, including documentation and record-keeping. Use bilingual skills if applicable to support diverse families. Integrate technology tools to support learning and administrative tasks.

Required Qualifications

Level 2 or Level 3 Early Childhood Educator certification. Experience in toddler or early childhood education settings. Strong organizational and teamwork skills. Comfortable balancing teaching support and administrative tasks. Ability to use computers and educational software. Residency in Cochrane or willingness to commute.

Preferred Qualifications

Montessori teaching experience. Knowledge of early childhood development strategies specific to toddlers. Experience working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds.
