The Little Miners Early Learning Centre is excited to announce the opening of a brand-new Government Licensed Childcare Centre in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan for toddlers, preschool and school age children ages 18 months to 12 years.

We are looking for a passionate and committed Early Childhood Educator Level 2 to join our team.

The current position is open to Full time or Casual employment opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have the commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This roll offers opportunity to obtain higher levels within ECE if the candidate in interested in pursuing.

Duties

Reports to Room Lead and Director/Assistant Director. Develop and deliver age-appropriate programming guided by the Play and Exploration curriculum. Foster a warm, inclusive, & stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity, creativity, and hands-on discovery. Demonstrate flexibility in meeting the unique needs, abilities, and interests of each child in your care. Observe, document, and assess children's growth and behaviors to support ongoing developmental evaluation. Establish positive, trusting connections with children and families to create a welcoming and secure sense of community. Ensure effective communication with parents, guardians, colleagues, the center director, & the community to promote high-quality childcare. Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and health and safety standards. Work collaboratively with colleagues to foster a cohesive & supportive team environment. To provide early learning and childcare services that align with the center's core values and philosophy. Maintain a clean and organized centre to ensure that children have a safe space to learn, grow, & explore. Participate in professional development opportunities.

What You'll Bring:

ECE Level 2 Certification Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (Current) Valid First Aid/CPR-C Certification - Not mandatory but an asset Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passion for early childhood education and commitment to professional growth
