Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator (Level 2 or 3) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. You will implement age-appropriate curricula and activities that promote learning through play, ensuring each child feels valued and supported.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support children's development. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their growth and development. Facilitate activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that encourages exploration and learning. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.

Requirements

Level 2 or 3 certificate holder in Early Childhood Education. At least 2 years of working in a Canadian setting Daycares and Out-of-school childcares. Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education practices. Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles. Patience, creative, and a genuine passion for working with young children. Has Valid Certification in CPR and First Aid.
