Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Lumber Associate to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our lumber products are handled efficiently and delivered to our customers with the highest level of service. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for customer service.

Duties

Assist customers in selecting lumber and related products, providing knowledgeable recommendations based on their needs. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move and organize lumber products safely. Load and unload materials from delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Maintain an organized and clean work environment within the warehouse. Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels and customer needs. Participate in regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers. DZ License with a clear abstract required Experience in commercial driving is a plus for transporting materials when necessary. Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday. Experience in warehouse operations or moving is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate teamwork and customer interactions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week
