Overview

We are seeking a Lumber Yard Associate & Delivery Driver to join our team.

Duties

Greet customers, and assist with loading and unloading of building materials, lumber and hardware products. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other yard equipment (Training to be provided) Maintain an organized and clean yard, ensuring products are properly stored. Safely drive and deliver orders to customers Verify orders before delivery and ensure accurate, timely drop-offs. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and assist with unloading if needed. Follow all company and safety policies while working in the yard and on the road. Assist in inventory management, conducting regular inventory checks.

Requirements

Valid driver's license (Class 1 or 3) with a clean driving record. (Preferred) Excellent communication abilities in English; bilingual candidates are preferred. Previous experience in deliveries, warehouse and yard work preferred. Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and work in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. A willingness to learn about various lumber products and their applications. Forklift experience (training will be provided)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
