We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drywall Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in drywall installation and finishing, ensuring that all surfaces are smooth, even, and ready for painting or other finishes. A strong understanding of construction practices and the ability to read blueprints is essential for this role. Responsibilities

• Prepare drywall surfaces by applying joint compound, tape, and other materials to create a smooth finish.
• Measure and cut drywall sheets to fit specific areas as per project requirements.
• Sand and polish finished surfaces to achieve the desired texture and appearance.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and painters, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and timelines.
• Perform caulking around edges and seams to prevent moisture intrusion and enhance durability.
• Maintain a clean work environment by properly disposing of materials and tools after use.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong maintenance person skills with knowledge of drywall installation techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints accurately to execute projects effectively.
• Proficiency in caulking, construction painting, and finishing techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members on-site.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
