We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in drywall installation and finishing, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. As a Drywall Finisher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that drywall surfaces are smooth, even, and ready for painting or other finishes. This position requires both technical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Measure and cut drywall sheets to fit designated areas accurately. Install drywall panels on walls and ceilings using appropriate techniques and tools. Apply joint compound to seams, corners, and screw holes to create a smooth surface. Sand down surfaces after drying to achieve a flawless finish. Inspect finished work for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and painters, to ensure project timelines are met. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

Proficiency in drywall installation techniques and finishing methods. Strong skills in blueprint reading to interpret project specifications accurately. Experience in construction painting and caulking for seamless transitions between surfaces. Ability to perform maintenance person tasks related to drywall and general construction work. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
