We are adding to our

Pet Grooming Team

. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and the skills necessary to provide high-quality grooming services. This role involves working closely with pets and their owners to ensure a positive grooming experience while maintaining the health and well-being of the animals.

Responsibilities

Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats . Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and grooming options. Handle animals safely and humanely, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area, including proper sanitation of tools and equipment. Monitor pets for any signs of health issues or discomfort during grooming sessions. Collaborate with veterinary staff when necessary to address any health concerns observed during grooming.

Skills

Proficiency in pet grooming techniques for various breeds and sizes. Proper animal handling skills with an understanding of animal behavior and restraint techniques. Knowledge of pet care practices, including bathing, brushing, and nail trimming. Ability to lift heavy animals safely as required during grooming sessions. Excellent customer service skills to build rapport with pet owners and address their concerns effectively. Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
