to our facility. We're looking for a skilled and passionate

Professional Dog Groomer

to help launch and grow our grooming program. This is an excellent opportunity to build your own loyal client base with the support of an established daycare environment and steady customer traffic.

What You'll Do

As our Professional Groomer, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional grooming experience for every dog and a warm, professional interaction with every client. Your responsibilities will include:

Performing high-quality grooming services, including bathing, brushing, breed-standard and owner-requested haircuts, de-shedding, styling, and finishing. Offering additional services such as nail trims, ear cleaning, sanitary trims, and teeth brushing. Ensuring every pet's physical and emotional safety through gentle handling, patience, and positive reinforcement. Assessing pets for potential skin or coat concerns and communicating findings to pet parents in a supportive and professional manner. Keeping the grooming space clean, organized, and sanitized throughout the day, including proper care of tools and equipment. Greeting customers, assisting with booking and check-in/check-out procedures, and providing exceptional customer service at all times. Recommending services, products, and care routines that support the pet's wellness and encourage repeat visits. Contributing to a positive, inclusive team culture and helping shape the grooming program as it grows.

What You Bring

Minimum

2+ years of professional grooming experience

in a salon, daycare, or similar setting. A

portfolio

showcasing your work (online album or Instagram account preferred). Confidence working with dogs of varying sizes, temperaments, and coat types. Excellent communication and customer service skills--you enjoy talking with clients and building relationships. Strong time management, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to safely lift dogs up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods. A genuine love of animals and a calm, patient, compassionate approach to grooming.

Pay: $50,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
