Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and the ability to provide exceptional grooming services that enhance the well-being of pets. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring that each pet is groomed according to their specific needs while delivering outstanding customer service to pet owners.

Responsibilities

Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, providing recommendations for appropriate grooming treatments. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming options, pet care tips, and any concerns observed during grooming sessions. Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process. Lift and manage pets of various sizes, demonstrating strength and care during handling.

Experience

Previous experience in pet grooming is required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with pet owners. Experience in handling animals safely and effectively, including heavy lifting when necessary. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care and well-being is essential. Pay: $16.55-$30.73 per hour
