Job Requirements

  • To join our team of professionals, you must be independent, highly motivated, have demonstrated leadership qualities, and an inherent ability to develop and coach commissioned employees.
  • Three years or more of relevant sales management experience is required, together with a sound knowledge of the real estate and mortgage lending industries.
  • You possess excellent communication skills, are willing to work variable hours, and are independent, self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A university degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required

As a District Manager within our channel, your objective will be to lead a team of commissioned mortgage specialists in their business building initiatives.
Under your strong leadership, your team will target realtors, financial planners, builders and other centres of influence to bring mortgage and secured home equity line of credit business, as well as strong customer relationships to our TD Canada Trust branch network. You and your team will work from a sales management system which has been designed specifically for our sales channel.
Key accountabilities include recruitment and selection of new Specialists; new business development; sales training and joint field call work; coaching of sales people and sales activity management. This position offers salary and a commission income. Further commission matrix information will be available at time of interview.
