Responsibilities
Coordinate daily freight movements between customers and trucking companies
Handle inbound and outbound communication with clients, carriers, and warehouse teams
Enter and update shipment data accurately in the transportation management system (TMS)
Track and trace shipments proactively to ensure on-time delivery
Quote freight rates and provide competitive pricing on various lanes
Assist the sales representative with order follow-ups, customer updates, and load planning
Manage warehouse scheduling, inbound/outbound appointments, and inventory coordination
Resolve service issues quickly and professionally to maintain high customer satisfaction
Perform general administrative and data entry tasks as required
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in
transportation, logistics, or dispatch
(preferred but not required)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and general data entry systems
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced setting
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Willingness to work a
flexible schedule
evenings or weekends may be required
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work closely with sales, operations, and carrier partners
