Manage incoming customer inquiries via phone and email, ensuring timely responses.
Order entry and customer management.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding shipping and receiving updates.
Analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Maintain real-time communication with drivers, monitoring routes, traffic, and weather conditions to ensure timely deliveries.
Assist in maintaining accurate records, including driver logs, vehicle maintenance schedules, and delivery confirmations.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing timely and professional resolutions.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the operations team.
Job Requirements:
2+ years of experience in dispatching, logistics, or transportation management, preferably in the trucking industry.
Proficiency in using phone systems for effective communication.
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS requirements.
Proficiency in transportation management software, Microsoft Office, Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with customers, drivers, and team members.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly in fast-paced situations.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
