Midland Transport is currently seeking a

Dispatch Assistant

based out of the Dartmouth Terminal. The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a "Can Do" attitude.

Dispatching drivers Managing driver productivity Data entry to comply with company KPI's Scanning of paperwork Assisting team with reception, pick-up calls, customer service inquiries Filling in/assisting Dispatch Supervisor as required

Education Required: Trade Certification or Associate's Degree Years of Experience Required: 2-5 years of dispatch experience in a transportation environment Ability to multi-task and willingness to learn Excellent customer service skills Strong leadership skills Solid interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), organizational, and time management skills Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work with minimal supervision under pressure and time constraints in a busy environment FACTS knowledge an asset
