Turtle Jacks Oakville is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Dishwashers to join our dynamic food service team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are sanitized and ready for use. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality and food service, with experience in restaurant, catering, or hotel settings preferred. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while supporting the overall dining experience. Wage is negotiable depending on experience.

Duties

Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently Support food preparation tasks such as basic chopping or ingredient setup when required Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dishwashing stations in compliance with health and safety standards Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service times

Skills

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hotel environments is advantageous Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation practices in a commercial kitchen setting Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of food handling safety protocols Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work well as part of a team within a hospitality setting Flexibility to adapt to various duties such as bussing, food preparation, or assisting with culinary tasks when needed

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
