Our Director, Sales and Marketing is responsible for maximizing market share, growing revenues, and enhancing positive awareness of Nunastar's Hotels and Residential/Commercial Real Estate (Astro Hill).
Nunastar's goal is to be the best marketed company in Northern Canada. Nunastar is well known for operating Yellowknife and Iqaluit's premium properties.
This is critical role that requires an individual to be creative, results-driven, passionate about customer experience, a self-starter, and a natural influencer. This position will manage our brands and implement their service strategies and initiatives in all aspects of the sales process. The North is a small, relationship-driven market, and there will be a large emphasis on building long-term relationships that allow Nunastar to continue to excel.
Main Accountabilities
1. Strategic Planning and Market Intelligence - develop and implement annual sales and marketing plans for the Hotels and residential/commercial leasing
2. Sales - create a solid sales pipeline within identified market segments to reach/exceed annual targets
3. Marketing - to develop innovative marketing initiatives and deploy strategies to continue to grow profitable market share
4. Social Media - to develop and implement the social media project charter to manage all of the social media channels
