Responsible for all leasing functions, which may include reviewing and negotiating lease transactions and agreements for prospective franchisees and prospective landlords for brands.
Lead the selection process for high quality sites by working with related functional areas to conduct market research, to prepare initial site and market analysis \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitors trends for competition in the marketplace.
To liaise with developers in franchising and site selection
Establishes and maintains relationships with external service providers, landowners, brokers, developers, potential business partners, and professional organizations.
Coordinate with Legal, Franchising, Finance and other departments as required
Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
Keep up to date with relevant Franchise Legislations
Manages daily activities of the leasing operations department in accordance with organization policies and standards.
Requirements
Completion of a college degree in a related field Required Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of previous experience in commercial leasing/ property management.
Previous experience in the franchising business model/ industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Outlook, Word, Adobe Professional Suite, Power Point.
Familiarity with lease management software.
A valid provincial drivers\' licence.
Ability to understand base building drawings and review site services at a basic level.
Mature professional judgment and professionalism in handling all matters.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Ability to work in a team and able to communicate effectively.
Ability to think strategically, problem solve and adapt to challenging situations.
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
