We are seeking a Director, Partnerships, to build upon an already successful e-commerce partner program (currently a team of three), and build a zero to one partner program in the Atlassian/DevOps ecosystem. Reporting to the VP, Revenue, the Director, Partnerships will be responsible for the overall strategy and execution of our Partnerships program.

As this new program grows, our partner infrastructure will need to scale into other functional ecosystems (ex. Martech) as we continue to release an increasing number of backups for more SaaS applications. Our unique product development strategy represents a rare opportunity to build out a partner program that will grow to cover a variety of ecosystems/verticals and has the potential to expand and grow quickly over time.

The Director, Partnerships will have experience leading nimble teams and has built out ground-up, or early stage, partner programs at B2B SaaS companies. Past success driving pipeline and revenue through some combination of Solution Providers, Value Added Resellers, Agencies, Systems Integrators, Independent Software Vendors and Strategic Partners is ideal.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a pipeline generating partner program within the DevOps and Atlassian ecosystems (Jira, Confluence, Trello, Bitbucket & Github)
  • Optimize and continue to grow our e-commerce (Shopify, BigCommerce, Klayvio & Mailchimp) partner program
  • Build out future partner programs to support future backup releases
  • Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with SPs, VARs, ISVs, etc.
  • Explore and develop new strategic partnership opportunities
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and operating mechanisms to continuously measure the success and effectiveness of partnerships
  • Monitor team performance and track progress towards targets and other goals
  • Provide regular reports and updates on partnership activities and outcomes including leads passed, conversion rates, pipeline generated, and pipeline closed
  • Work closely with Sales to leverage partner relationships to meet revenue targets
  • Coordinate with Marketing teams to create, execute, and measure marketing programs
  • Work closely with Customer Support, Legal and Product teams to ensure a consistent prospect, customer and partner feedback loop
  • Travel to and represent Rewind at relevant industry and partner events when needed
Qualifications

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of B2B SaaS experience in Partnerships, Account Management, Channel Sales, and/or Mid-Market/Enterprise Sales.

They should also:
  • Have 4+ years leading/managing partnerships teams
  • Have a track record of successfully building early stage partner programs
  • Be able to think strategically while also being in the trenches with the team
  • Be process oriented and have previously implemented a defined operating structure
  • Have proven experience hiring high performing teams at early-stage companies
  • Be a confident public speaker, comfortable engaging partners and prospects live
  • Be an empathetic and people-first leader
  • Have experience within the Atlassian partner ecosystem (this is an asset)
