Position Summary

: Up With Women/Exponenti'elles is piloting the Pipeline to Work project, connecting clients in our coaching program to job opportunities with corporate partners committed to hiring and supporting women overcoming barriers from past homelessness, trauma, or violence.

Expected hiring salary range: $45,000 - $67,000

WHAT YOU'LL DO





Reporting to the Director, Partnerships and Engagement, the Corporate Engagement Specialist will set up and manage the internal systems and partnership relationships necessary to facilitate job matching between clients and corporate partners in the Toronto area. This includes liaising with HR teams within existing corporate partner relationships to identify suitable job opportunities available to our clients, collaborating with internal teams to connect clients with these opportunities, and supporting clients throughout the job search process. The Corporate Engagement Specialist will also play a vital role in assessing project effectiveness, overseeing the development of job application tools, tracking impact results of the project, and contribute to supporting the growth of the larger Corporate Partnerships portfolio.




Key Responsibilities:






1. Client and Corporate Engagement

:


Work closely with HR/Talent Acquisition teams within existing corporate partners to identify job opportunities suitable for our clients. Maintain ongoing communication with corporate partners to secure job postings and provide updates on client applications. Collaborate with internal programs team to connect clients with opportunities and support them through the job application process. Support clients with workshops on interview skills, resume building, and job application strategies.

2. System and Process Development:




Collaborate on the creation of communication materials for clients and corporate partners. Work with IT to ensure seamless integration of job board software with Up With Women/Exp's website.

3. Project Assessment and Reporting:




Gather and compile data on partnership outcomes, engagement levels, and program participation. Work with an evaluation consultant to develop a comprehensive project evaluation plan. Collect feedback and data from clients, and corporate HR teams. Assist with data collection and report preparation.

4. Corporate Partnership Support




Conduct prospect research to identify potential corporate partners and opportunities for collaboration. Maintain and update the database with information on corporate partners, job opportunities, and client applications. Assist in preparing materials for corporate partnership meetings, taking meeting notes, and following up on action items. Support with administrative tasks, such as scheduling, data entry, and coordinating communications with current and prospective partners. Undertake other duties as required



KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS






Qualifications:




Education: Bachelor's degree in social work, Human Resources, Project Management, or equivalent experience Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in program coordination, workforce development, client support roles, corporate partnerships/ fundraising, or related field. Experience in non-profit sector or working with marginalized communities is highly valued.

Skills:




Passion for social impact, equity, and supporting marginalized communities Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce is preferred Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including developing and nurturing long-term relationships with corporate partners Ability to identify challenges and develop creative, client-centered solutions Awareness of inclusive hiring practices and how to support equity in the workplace Sensitivity to challenges faced by vulnerable women and gender diverse individuals in re-entering the workforce Knowledge of trauma-informed practices an asset Bilingualism in French and English is preferred
