TCO plays a crucial role in fulfilling TOC\'s mission of creating value forThis Company through effective communication with its extensive range of stakeholders.The candidate will be responsible for driving and promoting stakeholder engagement specifically for This Company\'s sustainability technologies. As an integral part of the team, the Event Manager and Engagement Specialist will contribute to the development and execution of events and PR campaigns for Technology Oversight and Coordination (TOC).Ideal candidates should possess expertise in specialized branding and marketing concepts, principles, and tactics. Additionally, proficiency in both English and Arabic languages is required to effectively communicate and engage with diverse stakeholders.Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage global workshops, events, and conferences related to sustainability, climate change, and innovations in climate technologies.
  • Develop annual event and branding engagement plans for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Arrange visits with VIPs, universities, and other relevant organizations or entities as required.
  • Manage agency relationships, develop scopes of work, and oversee work programs.
  • Align, promote, and support corporate communication efforts.
  • Establish and manage an internal communication governance system with periodic strategic reviews and bi-weekly tactical reviews.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and strategies.
  • Develop marketing campaigns, brand collateral, and long-term strategies, overseeing the work of external consultants including web developers, videographers, and online platform vendors.
  • Manage brand resources and processes to ensure consistent brand delivery, including message frameworks, visual assets, key terminology, accurate data, and highlights.
  • Conduct extensive quantitative and qualitative market research to implement data-driven marketing campaigns and meet organization-wide strategic goals.
  • Support organizational growth by developing content marketing and demand generation strategies that drive awareness and engagement.
  • Develop and implement a strategic external events calendar to drive awareness with new prospects and accelerate existing opportunities.
  • Create a centralized events calendar for email campaigns, overseeing their full lifecycle including creative/copy development, data segmentation, and reporting/analysis.
  • Brainstorm and develop ideas for events.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to execute promotional events and campaigns.
  • Coordinate with marketing and other professionals to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience for events through appropriate channels such as social media, email, TV, etc.
Requirements:
  • This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Strategic Communications, Public Affairs, Journalism, Media, or a related field. A Master\'s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of work experience in event management.
  • Ability to work effectively both as a team player and independently.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field preferred from a recognized and approved program.
  • 3+ years of experience in strategic communication and public affairs.
  • Strong analytical capacity, capable of addressing complex challenges and contexts.
  • Demonstrated confidence, integrity, and collaboration.
  • Excellent interpersonal and diplomatic communication skills, with a high degree of emotional intelligence and empathy.
  • Comfortable and effective in interactions with C-suite leaders, subject matter experts, and working-level partners.
  • Hands-on self-starter with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work and deliver results under pressure and to overcome adversity.
  • Requires more than 50% travel worldwide, including Asia, Europe, Africa, the Americas, and various locations in the Middle East.
