Profile: Our client is in the fashion retail industry and they are looking for a Director of Sales and Operations to many their network of stores and personnel. You will be tasked with the smooth operations of the retail group, under your management. We favour someone with a background in retail fashion.

Territory: Province of Quebec
Workplace: Montreal but travelling to stores across Quebec
Products/Services: Fashion brand
Salary: Base $120,000-$150,000
Commissions/Bonus: Bonus 20% -25% of base
Car allowance: Vehicle + gas card provided
Expense's reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

Functions:
Direct sales and operations for the stores and personnel under your authority
Visit stores on a regular basis (with pre-established) schedules as per store importance
Provide coaching to District Sales Manager reporting to you
Analyze all financial aspects of your stores, make recommendations and report to your manager
Ensure consistency throughout your stores and managers
Work closely with buyers, operations staff, back office and senior management team
Perform performance appraisals as set out by the company.
Ensure that District Managers are regularly coaching staff
Plan budget and expenses

Requirements

• Essential - Fluent in French and English
• Essential - Experience in retail sales

Knowledge and abilities

• Essential - Recognized as a leader
• Essential - Knowledge of Microsoft Office
