Our marketing leader is digital savvy with a real talent for creativity, content creation and innovation. The marketing lead is responsible for our brand strategies, external communication strategies, online marketing strategy and all tactical marketing activities. Ultimately, the DIRECTOR is assessed based on our online and DTC success, as well as our wholesale brands? positioning, collaterals, and sales. Job Responsibilities: Content Creation
With a particular focus on substantial increases in the volume of content creation, the DIRECTOR is ultimately responsible for all content creation across digital (primarily) and non-digital channels and media, for both photography, video, and writing.
Content creation will include the development of an internal photography capability as well as processes to manage high frequency sample management and digital re-production activities.
Social Media and E-Mail
Lead and direct our 3rdparty resource for the management and growth of our social media platforms.
Responsible for overseeing email marketing planning and publication calendars.
Digital Advertising
Working with 3rdparty resources, the DIRECTOR is responsible, using third party media buying resources, to place content against stated ROAS objectives.
Online E-comm Traffic and Conversion Rate Improvement
The Director will take on responsibility of working with internal and 3rdparty resources to improve traffic and online conversion with increasingly effective advertising, e-mail blasts and improvements to our sites including for example, abandoned cart, pay later and improved navigation strategies.
Managing Marketing Calendars and Budgets
Working with E-Comm and Wholesale, the DIRECTOR will produce appropriate calendars for marketing activities including content development, promotional plans, store collateral production, and delivery of materials.
Working with the CEO, President and DIRECTOR Finance, the DIRECTOR will establish, manage and report on the marketing budget.
In-Store POP, Collateral and Messaging
The DIRECTOR will work with Sales, and Merchandising to plan, design and execute updates to in-store collaterals and key selling platforms.
Wholesale Account Ad Kits, Communication and Support
The DIRECTOR will develop seasonal ad strategies for retailers and react to requests for support. The Marketing Lead will also manage frequent communication with our customers to ?sell-in? the latest advances in our collections, processes and strategies.
PR
The DIRECTOR is responsible for Managing 3rdparty resources in charge of the company?s PR activities and brands including press releases, celebrity dressing etc. in both B2B and consumer media.
Update to Brand and Go to Market Strategies
Working with strategic guidance provided by the CEO, the DIRECTOR will provide ongoing research on the marketplace and activities of competitors. The DIRECTOR will then work with their team and the merchandising, E-Comm and wholesale sales teams to develop plans to implement brand and go to market strategies. Development of 3rdparty collaborations and strategic use of influencers will be key.
Essential Requirements and Qualifications:
5+ years? work experience at a DIRECTOR level
Creative skill set a must
