Are you an experienced finance professional with experience as a Corporate Controller or Director of Finance and looking to make your mark on a growing company? The successful candidate will have a broad exposure across multiple areas including financial analysis, Investment strategy, consolidation & reporting, operations and drive a deeper understanding of the key metrics around the business. Primary Responsibilities
  • Accounting and admin for investments and holding companies including working with the CFO in maintaining records, cash flows, monthly investment reporting, and preparing Year-End Working Paper files.
  • Take an active part in preparing the yearly budget for investments with the CFO
  • Researching and analyzing existing and potential investment actions, preparation of reports and recommendations for review by the Investment Management Team.
  • Attend Investment Management Team meetings and present analysis and recommendations.
  • Coordinate and manage transactions of investment companies.
  • Working with the CFO on corporate and project entities and reporting.
  • Working with the CFO on Legal issues such as set up corporate and project entities.
  • Depending on the individuals background, be involved in real estate investments, financial planning, securing financing, transactions, and asset management.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Minimum of Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a specialization accounting, economics, business, taxation, or a closely related subject and a professional certification as a CPA. CFA credits and knowledge is an asset.
  • Ability to compare, analyze, and summarize investments to help inform decisions or make recommendations.
  • Knowledge of the rules and regulations about reporting and managing investments.
  • Knowledge in strategic ways of managing tax exposure and capable of preparing tax documents.
  • Firm grasp on accounting software programs.
  • Detail oriented, well organized and strong analytical, critical thinking and risk management skills.
