Impact Recruitment has partnered with a leading construction firm in Vancouver, currently they are looking to hire a director of finance to their team. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of relevant experience.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Reporting to the owner, the director of finance will be responsible for overseeing the finance, IT, HR and administrative function, some of the duties include but aren't limited too:

• Lead and mentor a team of 5+ people and manage the financing and cash management strategies.
• Oversee project accounting and modelling of long-range planning and cashflow analysis.
• Review and negotiate loan agreements and setup lease terms.
• Monitor bank compliance with debt and covenants, manage cashflow and create cashflow projections.
• Review CRA documents and audits, complete the financial reporting, year-end reporting and corporate compliance work.
• Ensure effective and efficient I.T. infrastructure is in place and set up budgets for I.T. and allocation of I.T. resources
• Financial review of project specific budgets, cashflow and projection reporting
• Work in collaboration with external accountants, banks, auditors, and stakeholders for year-end work
• Oversee the HR and admin department and ensure alignment with strategic plan

REQUIREMENTS

• Designated CPA
• 7+ years of construction accounting experience.
• 4+ years of leadership experience

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Salary: $160,000 to $180,000
• 3 to 4 weeks' vacation
• Extended health and dental
• Discretionary bonus
