Job Description

This is a fabulous role for a Sports Enthusiast. Our client, a global services company, who work with clients across many business verticals (including sports & entertainment), is looking to hire a Director of Finance. This role is located downtown Toronto and is 100% on-site. Please note that the salary range listed is "all-in" compensation.

Snapshot of the Role:

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for maximizing the return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business and leading financial strategy and planning.

\xc2\xb7 Oversight of the Accounting and Finance functions.

\xc2\xb7 Monitoring and analyzing capital and operating budgets, including monthly financial analyses, monthly forecasting, annual planning, cash forecasting, and ad hoc business analyses.

Your Key Qualifications:
- University Degree (Accounting, Finance, or related field). CPA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant Finance - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software required.
- Must be highly analytical, can think creatively, and understand complex business dynamics.
- Knowledge of Appetize and NCR Quest point of sale systems, and ABI payroll system a plus.
- Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and team leadership.
