Position: Director of Finance
Location: Laval
Privileges: Hybrid schedule, 3 days in the office, Friday half-day, flexible schedule, 5 weeks of vacation, RRSP, parking, gym

Are you looking to use your financial skills as part of a dynamic, entrepreneurial team?

Our client, a leading company with over 45 years\' experience in the manufacturing industry located in Laval, is looking to add a Director of Finance to its team.

This opportunity would be ideal if you want to work with the President as part of his strategic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising 5 employees, including a controller. You will be the key person in the financial management and strategic development of the company!

Responsibilities:

- Provide analytical support for financing solutions
- Manage cash flow and return on investment
- Review all financial statements
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for management, investors and bankers
- Review financial compliance reports required for various financial agreements
- Oversee raw materials inventory management and optimization
- Oversee progressive revenue recognition and analyze gross costs for construction projects and their variations to propose recommendations
- Prepare and monitor billing and sales forecast reports
- Manage investment reports and analyses, and recommend solutions
- Assist the President in all other tasks

What it takes to succeed in this role:

- At least 10 years of relevant manufacturing experience
- CPA professional designation
- Excellent command of French
- Leadership skills, autonomy and motivation
- Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented attitude and strong entrepreneurial skills.
- Initiative and good judgment, ability to work as part of a team
- Dynamism and professionalism
