Job #4529- Exciting time to join a prominent and well-respected organization as they take on a massive expansion of their operations! Reporting to the CEO, and with a functional relationship to the CFO, the Director of Finance and Administration is responsible for all financial controls and reporting aspects of the company. This position will also work closely with all department managers to provide support in the areas of fiscal responsibility, day-to-day administration while leading corporate initiatives related to information technology, capital asset management, corporate governance, finance system transformation, budgets, corporate dashboards, financial reporting, and fiscal process improvements. Additional responsibilities include:
Lead the annual operating and capital budgeting process and provide strategic advice regarding overall financial goals and strategic objectives
Provide detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual reports monitoring and forecasting the financial status
Coordinate and lead internal and external audits
Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards
Forecast and manage cash flow, including the management of credit facilities and payables and receivables
Manage employee compensation and lead a small team
Perform cost analysis and prepare various accounting reports and transactions
Research, evaluate and advise on key investments and acquisitions
The successful candidate will have exceptional relationship building skills and must be able to lead corporate initiatives alongside the senior leadership team. Qualifications: The main qualifications for this role include:
Completed CPA designation strongly preferred
Minimum 7-10 years\' experience in a senior leadership role
Previous experience working with a Board of Directors
Solid knowledge of capital asset management, payroll management, balance sheet management, benefits administration, facility planning and budgeting/forecasting
Experience implementing new financial management and accounting information systems
A successful track record in setting priorities, keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which support sound decision-making
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
What\'s the Bottom Line:
