ABOUT THE CLIENT
Impact recruitment has partnered with an established real estate developer that has been in the business for over 8 years. They have recently taken on 2 massive projects with a couple more prestigious projects in their pipeline and are currently looking to add an experienced Director of Finance to their accounting team!
ABOUT THE POSITION
Reporting to the CEO and VP Development, the Director of Finance will be responsible for:
- Oversee and assist with preparation of financial statements, project financing, i.e., mortgage, land loan and construction financing.
- Hire and develop the accounting team
- Provide analysis, budgets, cashflow forecasting and prepare financial reports.
- Prepare proforma, job cost analysis, working papers and year-end audit preparation.
- Assist with income tax planning, corporate restructuring, as well as review new investment and land acquisitions opportunities and risks.
- Maintain banking and lender relationships and work in collaboration with external auditors.
- Manage the full accounting cycles and analysis.
- Designated CPA
- 10+ years of development accounting experience
- Real estate experience is required
- Salary: $180,000 to $220,000
- 3 to 4 weeks\xe2\x80\x99 vacation
- Discretionary bonus
- Extended health and dental
