DHL currently has an opportunity available for aDirector of Field Sales& eCom for Canada. Based inBramptonthe leader must have a strategic mindset, winning attitude and logistics background. You will utilize your strong leadership skills to coach and develop a team of sales leader professionals that work to build relationships with their teams who build solid relationships with their teams and customers within Express and look to continue to grow market share across Canada.

You will discover the excitement of being a leader of sales teams that partner with existing customers and leveraging relations to expand the business. You will collaborate with other key members of the DHL Team to further enhance the customer experience all while ensuring we have a strong strategy to grow market share across the territory.

How will you contribute to the success of DHL?

As aPassionateLeader you will use your skill, influence and enthusiasm to:

  • Build strategy for the assigned area and sets direction for the team.
  • Oversee sales revenue generation, profit and/or expense objectives across the country.
  • Partner with other senior commercial leaders to communicate sales problems, geographical business observations, customer feedback, etc.
  • Assists ASM\xe2\x80\x99s, eCom NCM\xe2\x80\x99s & field sales representatives in securing critical sales.
  • Lead and coach a large team throughout the country
  • Provide coaching, training, and developing of direct reports and their teams
  • Assigns work, set completions dates, and reviews work in accordance with organizational policies, procedures and performance management process.
  • Builds business relationships across the business units and MNC / CSI and Americas eCom Council
  • Develop sales leaders through weekly APS and coaching sessions.
  • Grow the portfolio as per the target assigned
Leading as a Successful 21st Century Manager
  • This role is field and eCom based and requires daily interaction with Field Sales; It will require at least 50% travel to see customers and build relationships while continuing to coach the team.
  • Develop a high performance service culture within the team that nurtures and encourages service excellence, engagement, cost consciousness and quality based on our CIM 21st Century Manager principles and Respect and Results
  • Plans, organizes, and directs an efficient and effective sales team for the field sales and eCom in Canada
  • Regular interface with area senior commercial leadership and National Account Head to ensure consistent engagement and alignment of portfolio initiatives, strategic planning along with other area wide sales related applications.
Do you have what it takes? * Typically requires a BS/BA in related discipline and a minimum of 10 years of experience in related field.
  • Strong business acumen, and a track record for leading successful teams.
  • Extensive depth and breadth of expertise and experience in business/functional area leading customers.
  • Strong eCommerce background
  • Knowledge of large customer base & eCom /MNC accounts
  • Strong knowledge of the North America market
  • A wide and comprehensive acquaintance with, and understanding of, both general and specific aspects of work supervised and practical application to problems and situations ordinarily encountered.
  • Exhibit an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness.
  • Able to work with multiple levels of management from front line folks to CMB and leaders within the territory.
  • Fluent in English and also French would be beneficial
The Government of Canada recently announced that mandatory vaccination will soon be required for employees required to have aRAIC (Restricted Area Identity Card) pass or with access to the restricted area of an airport as part of their job function.
