About the position:

Reporting to the Executive Director of Community Engagement and Enrolment and acting as her delegate, the Director of Enrolment would have responsibilities in the following areas:

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create an enrolment management plan to improve enrolment and retention.
  • Effectively communicate with prospects throughout the process.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships within the community to support Admissions.
  • Develop new admissions programs/incentives that generate new enrolment prospects throughout the community.
  • Conceive, develop, schedule and execute internal and external events related to Admissions including open houses, educational fairs, etc.
  • Meet enrolment targets.
  • Ensure that an appropriate system is in place to track all stages of the enrolment process.
  • Lead and manage the admissions team through the enrolment cycle which will include presenting the School to prospective students and their parents, conducting tours, interviewing candidates and their parents; arranging for admissions testing, assessing student ability and fit for TFS, securing necessary student credentials, communicating the final decision to families, and facilitating the smooth transition for all incoming students.
  • Collaborate with key staff to develop and manage effective enrolment and retention goals. Work closely with the Executive Director, Community Engagement and Enrolment to plan and execute marketing strategies, including reviewing and approving publications, website content, advertising, and any other promotional pieces with enrolment implications.
  • Serve as an ambassador for the School and articulate and demonstrate support for all aspects of the TFS experience.
  • Develop and manage relevant data and statistics, compiling, analyzing and tracking enrolment and attrition data. Develop and update enrolment projections by grade level.
  • Prepare regular admissions reports for the management team.
  • Organize and manage the admissions staff in the development of a warm, welcoming and efficient admissions operation ensuring a systematic, efficient handling of applications and communication with candidates and their parents.

  • Admissions experience in an independent school setting as well as marketing and promotional experiences and credentials.
  • Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with some teaching experience, preferably at the primary/intermediate level would be an asset
  • Bilingual communicator in English and French with excellent oral and writing skills;
  • Good computer skills; strong interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills are essential
  • Ability to master technology and system change

  • Cr\xc3\xa9er un plan de gestion des inscriptions pour am\xc3\xa9liorer les inscriptions et la r\xc3\xa9tention.
  • Communiquer efficacement avec les prospects tout au long du processus.
  • Cultiver et g\xc3\xa9rer les relations au sein de la communaut\xc3\xa9 pour soutenir les admissions.
  • D\xc3\xa9velopper de nouveaux programmes d\xe2\x80\x99admission/incitations qui g\xc3\xa9n\xc3\xa8rent de nouvelles perspectives d\'inscription au sein de la communaut\xc3\xa9.
  • Concevoir, d\xc3\xa9velopper, programmer et ex\xc3\xa9cuter des \xc3\xa9v\xc3\xa9nements internes et externes li\xc3\xa9s aux admissions, notamment des journ\xc3\xa9es portes ouvertes, des salons de l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9ducation, etc.
  • Atteindre les objectifs d\xe2\x80\x99inscription.
  • S\xe2\x80\x99assurer qu\xe2\x80\x99un syst\xc3\xa8me appropri\xc3\xa9 est en place pour suivre toutes les \xc3\xa9tapes du processus d\xe2\x80\x99inscription.

  • Pr\xc3\xa9parer des rapports r\xc3\xa9guliers sur les admissions pour l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9quipe de direction.
  • Organiser et g\xc3\xa9rer le personnel charg\xc3\xa9 des admissions dans le cadre du d\xc3\xa9veloppement d\xe2\x80\x99une op\xc3\xa9ration d\xe2\x80\x99admission chaleureuse, accueillante et efficace, en assurant un traitement syst\xc3\xa9matique et efficace des demandes et une communication avec les candidats et leurs parents.

  • \xc3\x8atre bilingue en anglais et en fran\xc3\xa7ais avec d\xe2\x80\x99excellentes comp\xc3\xa9tences orales et \xc3\xa9crites ;
  • Avoir de bonnes comp\xc3\xa9tences informatiques, interpersonnelles, analytiques et organisationnelles sont essentielles
