Director, Future Growth

We have partnered with Activate on their search for a motivated, self-starter to fill the newly created Director, Future Growth role.

As a technology company experiencing significant expansion, the Director, Future Growth will be on the Senior Leadership Team to lead the organization through store growth into national and international marketspaces. With extensive program management and construction experience, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and all aspects of the building process for multiple locations for Activate Games.

As the Director, Future Growth you will:

• Lead an effective team, delegating responsibilities, managing workflow, and setting goals for success in the Future Growth Team including the Project Managers, Building Specialists, and Installations team.
• Collaborate and work with contracted Real Estate and Legal teams to plan for future store growth, including review of contracts, lease terms, and assess readiness of facilities for the building process, etc.
• Review and refine all elements of the project planning process for cost and time efficiencies.
• Ensure occupancy permits and all inspections are completed in a timely manner for all builds.
• Collaborate with other senior leaders to establish measures of success and execute improvement initiatives for new store builds and retrofits.
• Address build issues and correct inaccuracies with effective problem-solving and cost-saving measures.

You and Your Experience:

• Extensive knowledge of Project Management in a multi-project environment. Construction project management experience would be an asset.
• Diploma or Degree related to Project Management. A combination of related experience and education will be considered.
• Strong leadership, and communication with experience collaborating with senior leadership teams.
• Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships in a cross-functional, collaborative environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and with attention to detail.
• Highly motivated individual with initiative, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel.
