OVERVIEW


We are hiring for a National Director, Education and Communication to align and evolve the content, customer education and communication experience, and training of a national team of regionally based client and sponsor-facing CEMs (Communication and Education Managers).


This role will ultimately increase the team\xe2\x80\x99s ability to drive plan member knowledge and organizational revenue. It informs strategies with operational and business partners to determine the highest value tactics the CEM team can leverage to deliver on critical GC (Group Customer), BD (Business Development), customer and advisor goals.


The CEM role is a unique gateway to the plan member \xe2\x80\x93 in supporting the customer with their communication and education requirements, the CEM role is uniquely capable of connecting with, informing, and impacting member behaviour. This National Director role is critical in driving that evolution and will ultimately integrate both GB (Group Benefits) and GRS (Group Retirement Services) communication and education strategies.


WHAT YOU WILL DO


  • Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including:
  • Business Development leadership to understand unique client needs
  • Marketing to create aligned and meaningful content and collateral
  • Advisors and Consultants to effectively address the needs of Elite and National firms
  • Multiple Head Office administrative support teams to ensure process alignment and enablement of business outcomes
  • Develop and maintain a variety of nationally-based client education processes to standardize delivery and content across a variety of delivery methods (in-person, digital, campaigns, etc)
  • Develop and maintain an intake system for education requests and delivery to ensure both effective client delivery and equitable distribution of work
  • Partner with regional leaders and other key stakeholders to align individual CEM National Service Plans (NSPs) align with strategic organizational initiatives
  • Develop and facilitate a nationally based training program to standardize both technical and soft-skill CEM service plan delivery


WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • 6+ years of leadership and industry experience within both GB and GRS
  • Extensive experience with and knowledge of group retirement products, benefits, and pensions
  • Extensive experience partnering and collaborating with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to drive decisions, develop processes, and ensure alignment with nationally-based organizational goals and strategies to streamline regional delivery
