Job Description

The role of Direct Mail Manager- Donor Relations revolves around overseeing the offline direct mail acquisition program. This position requires adept project management skills, meticulous attention to detail, advanced proficiency in Excel, and a strong ability to manipulate and analyze data.

Key Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Contribute to the development and strategic planning of donor and acquisition programs through direct mail.

\xc2\xb7 Assist in formulating annual revenue and expense budgets.

\xc2\xb7 Evaluate department performance outcomes and identify cost inefficiencies associated with donor-related activities.

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate in shaping appeal themes, letters, and packages by researching and curating content from the communications story bank, and assessing campaign performance.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure currency and consistency of key messages and statistics in alignment with brand standards.

\xc2\xb7 Create and manage trade list partner requests, offering recommendations as necessary.

\xc2\xb7 Monitor trade and rental performance as well as existing commitments.

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with internal and external teams to prepare targeted donor segments.

\xc2\xb7 Liaise with data vendors to furnish business rules and data for merge/purge in acquisition mailings.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate with suppliers and oversee campaign execution, including strategy endorsement, content validation, creative asset management, and data segmentation.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure adherence to critical deadlines by collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.

\xc2\xb7 Integrate multi-channel options and other fundraising programs within campaigns to amplify growth prospects.

\xc2\xb7 Develop comprehensive campaign briefing documents for internal teams, encompassing appeal tracking for reporting, and Q& A for supporting customer service inquiries and donation processing requirements.

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with internal units to formulate, monitor, and report campaign results and program Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

\xc2\xb7 Execute data extractions and performance analyses of raw data to underpin strategic initiatives.

\xc2\xb7 Uphold impeccable data hygiene practices.

\xc2\xb7 Undertake additional duties as necessitated.

Qualifications:

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree, preferably in marketing, or equivalent experience.

\xc2\xb7 Minimum of 5 years of direct marketing exposure.

\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in conceptualizing acquisition and reactivation programs for lapsed donors, with hands-on experience in heightening response rates and contribution levels.

\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with diverse communication channels\' application in direct marketing.

\xc2\xb7 Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in conducting data analysis from raw datasets.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in executing advanced queries and exports in Raiser\'s Edge will be advantageous.
