Project Manager - Direct Mail

When your actions lead to success

• Special assignments required from time to time
• Act as liaison with Customer and production team on a daily basis for all production activity
• Create, review and distribute production instructions
• Manage/oversee Subcontractor and schedule of material requirements; review production details to ensure material due dates are dealt with proactively during the production flow
• Verify customers product at various stages, review non & personalized proofs, data reports and signoffs
• Oversee inbound and outgoing shipments
• Daily production status report and tracking for internal/external and customer
• Attend press approvals internal and external
• Work with Print and DM CSR to prioritize job activities
• Oversee spoils validation process, reporting and reprints
• Suppression reporting and data selection for production
• Oversee TC QC process and activities
• Dependent on production demands periodic weekends, evenings and nights will be required.
• Work as part of a team, follow and adhere to Transcontinental\'s code of ethics and participate in the continuous improvement efforts
• Fully understand and adhere to all relevant environmental, health and safety, human resources, quality, security and company policies and procedures
• Work in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act of Ontario, the Workplace Safety Insurance Act and all other applicable legislated environmental, health & safety regulations

When your expertise drives us.

• Post-secondary education along with a minimum of three (3) years related experience in direct mail and/or printing industries and knowledge of production equipment and procedures
• Strong skills in PC-based software applications including word, excel, e-mail and internet
• Extremely detail oriented, strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of data processing and cursory review of client\'s data and report reading
• Knowledge of forms composition, Canada post and the manufacturing requirements of Direct Mail projects
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task, handle priorities simultaneously.
