Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Direct Mail is responsible for picking and preparing customer orders for shipment, verifying product quality, and facilitating shipment of products. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and service.
Responsibilities:
Pick and organize customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
Inspect products to verify quality and compliance with standards, identifying and isolating quality issues as needed.
Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and secure packaging.
Coordinate the shipment and receipt of products and materials to maintain smooth workflow.
Perform all duties in accordance with plant safety guidelines, safe work practices, and applicable regulations. Wear appropriate PPE, maintain a clean and hazard-free work area, and ensure safe disposal of scrap and waste.
Ability to effectively react to change and undertake other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience in production or manufacturing (an asset)
