Position Summary:

This is an opportunity to gain exposure and experience in one of Marketing\xe2\x80\x99s newest and fastest growing functions, supporting the operations, effectiveness and efficiency of the entire Marketing function. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the co-op student\xe2\x80\x99s role will be to support the Marketing team by working on specific projects.

These projects may cover the areas of marketing analytics, fact-based reporting, measuring the digital marketing ecosystem\xe2\x80\x99s performance including website performance, campaign engagement and conversion to revenue and ROI or contributing to Marketing Technology implementation projects and cross-functional marketing process and / or enablement optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute display advertising tactics, including keyword research and expansion, ad creation, campaign performance tracking, and audience/placement analysis/recommendations
  • Continually evaluate and improve the effectiveness of campaigns through bid management, keyword analysis, and geo-targeting
  • Monitoring industry changes and bench-marking against online competitors
  • Support team members in implementing an advanced aligned reporting framework for measuring, reporting and analyzing marketing results.
  • Conduct a gap analysis to determine the ability to reach goals
  • Monitor and report on database quality metrics
  • Track, measure and report digital performance to ROI
  • Support measurement and reporting on organic and paid traffic growth strategies including SEM integration and provide analytics to optimize performance
  • Support Marketing technology implementations and initiatives as required
Required Experience:
  • Enrolled in a Marketing university or college program working towards a Marketing degree with a required co-op program to accomplish
  • Passion for Marketing as a function in general and an appetite to contribute to reporting, data infrastructure, and analytics
  • Ability to work with numbers, analyze, build reporting and drive data-based insights to optimize insights-based decision making
  • Detail oriented, curious analytical thinker with ability to translate quantitative data analytics into actionable recommendations
  • Business acumen, strategic thinking, business process development, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong collaborative interpersonal relationship management skills
  • Strong teamwork orientation with an ability to work effectively in a constantly changing environment
  • Experience / interest in working in a fast paced organization and technology environment
  • Experience with GSuite
  • Experience or interest with HubSpot
  • Experience or interest with Google Ads or Facebook Paid Ads
  • Understanding of website traffic and data metrics analysis
  • Google Analytics and Paid Ads interest
  • Data-driven performance optimization methodologies
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Google Sheets knowledge(great to have)
