Applications are invited for the temporary position of part-time Digital Media Associate in the Marketing Division. The starting salary is $33.28/hour for up to 24 hours per week. Additional hours may be required at peak times during the year such as start or end of term. The position is located at the Welland Campus. This is a temporary replacement position and is set to commence in January 2026 and conclude in December 2026. It may be subject to an extension by mutual agreement of the parties.


Reporting to the Manager, Digital Media Marketing, the successful candidate will assist the department in the execution of divisional needs, specifically video and photo capture. The marketing department functions as an in-house marketing, graphic design and social media communications service for Niagara College, specializing in the areas of Marketing consultation and plan development, design services, print services, web services and promotional material.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



Assist the Niagara College Marketing team in developing, editing and publishing digital media assets related to the support and growth of Niagara College's domestic and international programs, enterprises, events and services Work with the NC Digital Media team to develop photo and video assets - shot to Niagara College brand specifications Assist the NC Digital Media team in post-production digital asset work related to content (editing, titling, after effects, colour correction etc) Sort, keyword and backup assets in the Digital Media Asset folders

Qualifications:



3 Year Diploma in Broadcast or Media Production Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite 1-3 years work experience with digital photography or video production After Effects experience is preferred Keen attention to detail Ability to work independently Work colloboratively with a large marketing team Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Superior written and oral communication skills Ability to balance multiple priorities and requests Must have a valid G driver's license and access to reliable transportation
