POSITION OVERVIEW:
Virtue Vintage is seeking a detail-oriented, creative, and organized individual to join our team as a Stock / E-Commerce / Media Associate.
This hybrid role combines in-store sales support, inventory and e-commerce coordination, and media/content operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about vintage fashion, enjoys multitasking between digital and in-person responsibilities, and is confident both behind the screen and on the sales floor.
If you're skilled with organization tools like Google Sheets, have an eye for detail, and love blending fashion, media, and systems work, this position offers an exciting opportunity for growth within our team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales & Customer Experience
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
Provide personalized fashion and styling advice to enhance the customer experience.
Achieve individual and store sales targets through active engagement and product promotion.
Process purchases using the POS system accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
Stock & Inventory Management
Stays familiar with store merchandise, including new arrivals and popular items, to assist in organizing stock efficiently.
Receive and process new stock weekly, ensuring all items are accurately tagged and barcoded.
Organize and maintain the stockroom to ensure accessibility and orderliness.
Restock and merchandise the sales floor as needed to maintain product availability.
Track and update inventory using Excel or Google Sheets, ensuring data accuracy across systems.
Assist with vendor payouts, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and support audits.
E-Commerce Operations
Upload and update product listings with accurate descriptions, pricing, and high-quality images.
Process and package online orders promptly, ensuring proper tracking and customer communication.
Perform regular audits of online product listings to ensure accuracy (sizes, availability, descriptions).
Collaborate with the stock team to keep online and in-store inventory synchronized.
Report website or order-related issues to management for timely resolution.
Media & Content Support
Capture and create content (photos, videos, reels) for new arrivals, events and in store moments
Occasionally model or appear in content to showcase new pieces and store happenings.
Help organize content calendars and support social media scheduling.
Engage with online communities through comments, reposts, and DMs.
Stay current with vintage, streetwear, and pop culture trends to inspire creative campaigns.
Collaboration & Teamwork
Work closely with the sales, stock, and social media teams to align store goals and priorities.
Contribute ideas to improve operational efficiency and brand storytelling.
Support special events, pop-ups, and marketing initiatives as needed.
Participate in team meetings and share feedback constructively.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
Proficient vintage and thrifting, pop culture knowledge required.
Proficiency in Google Sheets / Excel required.
Retail, stock, or e-commerce experience preferred.
Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok) and content creation tools (Canva, CapCut, etc.) is an asset.
Skills:
Strong organization, multitasking, and time management abilities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Confident personality -- comfortable on camera and with customers.
Detail-oriented and proactive problem-solver.
