About the Role:



We are seeking a full-time Digital Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our Marketing team.



Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, this role will be responsible for managing MetOcean's online presence, developing engaging content, and supporting industry events to maximize brand visibility and customer engagement. Additionally, this role will play a key part in coordinating MetOcean's presence at global trade shows, ensuring seamless execution and impactful brand representation.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



Social Media & Digital Marketing

Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to grow MetOcean's online presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, and other relevant platforms. Create, schedule, and manage engaging social media content, including posts, stories, and video snippets. Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize content performance and audience engagement. Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and foster online community interactions. Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across social media, email marketing, and paid advertising platforms. Manage and optimize MetOcean's website content, ensuring SEO best practices and engagement analytics drive performance. Track digital marketing performance using analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.) and provide insights for improvement. Implement lead generation strategies through targeted campaigns, landing pages, and digital ads. Other duties, as assigned.

Tradeshow & Event Coordination

Organize and manage MetOcean's annual trade show schedule (~25 global events in 2025), including booth bookings, materials preparation, and logistics. Work closely with vendors, venues, and shipping partners to ensure timely delivery of displays and promotional materials. Manage the inventory of branded giveaways, print materials, and product demo units for events. Coordinate team updates for tradeshows and conferences. Track competitor activities at industry events to inform future marketing strategies. Other duties, as assigned.

Industry Partnerships & Sponsorships

Develop and manage relationships with industry partners, conference organizers, and media outlets to enhance MetOcean's presence. Identify co-marketing opportunities with key partners, including content collaborations and sponsorships. Assist with website content updates related to events and sponsorships. Other duties, as assigned.

Technical and Non-Technical Skills:



Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and engagement strategies. Proficient in digital marketing tools, including Google Ads, SEO, email marketing, and analytics. Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Education and Experience:



Bachelor's degree, with a focus on marketing, communications, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, event coordination, or a similar role. Experience with graphic design and content creation using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.).
