Digital Advisory Business Manager Responsibilities:
  • Act as an advocate for the Digital Advisory Group products, services, and offerings.
  • Play a critical role in developing the Digital Advisory Group's business strategy and alignment with SysGen's other service offerings
  • Develop a strong understanding of client organization & structure, product/services mix, and business changes to provide an IT strategy consistent with their business needs
  • Enable business outcomes such as improving business performance, accelerating operational efficiency, transforming client experiences, all while managing risk and stakeholder landscapes.
  • Contribute to practice development activities (e.g., new service offerings, training packages, recruiting initiatives, marketing).
  • Ability to articulate complex technical solutions to a non-technical audience
  • Contribute to business development activities through presentations, writing proposals, and responding to RFP's
  • Serve as an individual contributor and manager to drive implementation of technology and process solutions from concept to completion
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints while developing client plans to mitigate and address any concerns
  • Identify and address client needs through critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Work collaboratively with the SysGen service delivery teams to develop effective consultative approaches and techniques
  • Build collaborative working relationships across all levels of the client's organization and all business partners
  • Maintain open and honest communication with clients and colleagues
  • Define the governance and processes for the Digital Advisory Group business unit (move this higher in the list)
Digital Advisory Business Manager Experience & Skill Requirements:
  • Familiarity with designing and deploying Modern Workplace solutions; Teams, SharePoint and Microsoft toolsets
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in client services, project execution and business process management
  • Experience leading teams to deliver experience focused, technology enabled business solutions, either as part of a large transformation program, or independently
  • Ability to build strong relationships
  • Exceptional consultative and negotiating skills
  • The ability to function as an agile implementation subject matter expert for implementing and overseeing technology strategy and solutions in client organizations.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication, presentation and writing skills.
  • Effective at presentations to technical audiences and senior executives.
  • Highly analytical with proven problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with organizational change methods and practices
  • A keen interest and curiosity in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, and openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work.
  • ITIL, TOGAF, and other related technology certifications an asset.
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM, business, or technical.
  • Business analyst and project management experience or certification an asset.
  • Ability to travel to meet client needs.
