Main responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Design and integrate landing gear components, assemblies and systems to meet customer requirements; \xc2\xb7 Produce engineering drawings, datasets and documents to support production design; \xc2\xb7 Identify component key characteristics; \xc2\xb7 Issue weight reports and calculate components weight, moment of inertia, center of gravity, etc; \xc2\xb7 Prepare internal acceptance procedures (ATP); \xc2\xb7 Administer computer assisted design (CAD) systems and datasets \xc2\xb7 Assist Cost focal Point in generating product cost date when required; \xc2\xb7 Generate cost and time schedule estimates to plan overall project performance; \xc2\xb7 Define test articles, test requirements and criteria for internal development and qualification testing; \xc2\xb7 Perform other duties as required. Qualifications \xc2\xb7 Technical degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent and 10 years of relevant experience \xc2\xb7 Good understanding of Landing Gear principals and design methodologies \xc2\xb7 Good understanding of hydromechanical components and design methodologies \xc2\xb7 In depth knowledge of Catia V5 - advance methods, kinematics, functional tolerance and annotation and drafting / interoperability \xc2\xb7 Working knowledge of Engineering PDM systems such as Smarteam \xc2\xb7 Proficiency of MS officesuite; \xc2\xb7 Ability to provide analysis and advanced calculations; \xc2\xb7 Ability to solve complex technical problems; \xc2\xb7 Ability to work in a team and a client oriented environment.
