Position Summary
Pro-Dent Laboratory Ltd. is seeking an experienced
Dental Laboratory Manager
to lead our Cast Partial Department. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing workflow, ensuring quality standards, and supporting a team of skilled technicians.
Experience in cast partial frameworks is mandatory. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled technician with strong leadership ability, excellent problem-solving skills, and in-depth knowledge of removable prosthetics production.
Responsibilities
Oversee all daily operations within the Cast Partial Department
Supervise, support, and mentor department technicians
Review and assign incoming cases, ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery
Inspect and verify quality of cast partial frameworks prior to next production steps
Coordinate with other departments for case planning, troubleshooting, and communication
Maintain production schedules and ensure cases meet clinical and esthetic requirements
Train new staff in department protocols, techniques, and quality expectations
Implement and maintain quality control procedures and safety standards
Communicate with management regarding staffing, inventory, and operational needs
Assist hands-on with technical work when required (framework design, wax-up, metal finishing, etc.)
Qualifications
Mandatory: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Cast Partial Department (framework fabrication, design, and finishing)
Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a dental laboratory strongly preferred
Solid understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, and removable prosthetics
Ability to manage workflow and maintain accuracy under production deadlines
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Professional, reliable, and team-oriented work ethic
Dental Technology diploma or equivalent experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Wage: $32.50-$35.00/hour (commensurate with experience)
