Overview


We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Demolition Supervisor to oversee and coordinate demolition projects across various construction sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of demolition techniques, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role involves managing teams, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within scope. A background in blueprint reading, small equipment operation, and hand tool knowledge is highly desirable to ensure efficient project execution.

Duties



Supervise demolition activities, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to plan demolition procedures Coordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to schedule work phases Operate or oversee the operation of small equipment such as skidsteer, mini excavator, and floor scraper Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for demolition tasks including concrete breaking, masonry removal, and structural dismantling Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work Train and mentor team members to improve skills related to interior demolition

Experience



3-5 years experience in demolition or construction supervision or a related construction management role Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics Hands-on experience with small equipment operation such as skid steer or mini excavator Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction machinery Familiarity with concrete finishing, masonry work, carpentry, electrical systems, plumbing installation, tile laying, flooring installation, restoration projects, and cabinets is preferred Knowledge of safety protocols related to demolition activities and construction sites Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a crew of 5-10 employees effectively in fast-paced environments Valid Class 5 License
This position offers an opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead complex demolition projects while utilizing a broad skill set across multiple construction disciplines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week
