Demand Planning Manager

We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Demand Planning Manager who will be reporting to the VP of Demand Planning & Inventory Management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end Supply Chain, sales & inventory planning for our leading retail partners
• Create Annual Business plans & manage forecast negotiations with retail partners
• Analyze weekly sales reports, use them to monitor recent sales performance and adjust forecasts

on a SKU, brand and category level at appropriate time horizons

• Collaborate with marketing teams on digital media spend & promotional planning
• Maintain excellent relationship with the retailer\'s planning & supply chain teams
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust forecasting/production
• Assist our Logistics and Merchandising team with Purchase Order issuance, Ship dates planning,

Port of Loading adjustments, etc.

• Identify slow moving inventory, recommend turnaround strategy and advise sales teams

regarding item level sales rankings

• Maintain a good knowledge of competitors products on multiple marketplaces, recommend

product development strategy based on trends

Skills, Competencies & Requirements:

• Demand planning or inventory management experience of 1-2 years
• University or college degree in business, science/engineering (MBA is an asset)
• Excellent knowledge of English (oral & written) to deal with the foreign divisions and international

customers

• Strong aptitude for numbers, patterns and forecasting
• Ability to build and maintain excellent internal, cross-functional working relationships
• Strong knowledge and experience using MS Excel (Power BI is an asset)
• Self-directed, ability to work with limited supervision
