Position Summary:
We are looking for reliable and caring
Substitute Teachers (ECE, ECEA, or IT certified)
to join our casual/on-call list. This position is ideal for educators who want flexibility while still making an impact. You'll step in to support our teaching team when regular staff are away.Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities Follow daily routines and classroom plans set by the lead educator Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment Support children with transitions, meals, and playtime Communicate with other staff professionally and respectfully Follow licensing regulations and center policies
Requirements:
Valid
ECE, ECEA, or Infant-Toddler (IT)
certification (must be registered with the BC ECE Registry) ValidChildcare First Aid & CPR certificate
Clear Criminal Record Check
through the Ministry of Justice Up-to-dateimmunization record
Experience working with children in a licensed setting is an asset Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to different classrooms and routines Kind, professional, and dependableJob Type: Casual
Pay: $17.85-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
Work Location: In person
