OSC Teacher & Driver

Must have a class 4 driver licence, 3 years of driving experience, and a clean drivers abstract. A successful candidate will receive thorough training.

They will also be required to help in all rooms when not doing the bus run. Must have previous daycare experience.

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in various domains, including social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.

Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and educational activities to ensure their safety and well-being. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to support effective communication and collaboration. Monitor children's progress and behavior, providing guidance and support as needed. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that meets health and safety standards. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements

Proven experience in a classroom setting or similar educational environment. Background in early childhood education or related field is preferred. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Strong teaching skills with the ability to engage young children effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues. A caring attitude towards children with the ability to provide nurturing support. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
