Are you a data management professional with experience in Data Quality Management and looking for an exciting new career opportunity? STEMCELL Technologies, Canada\xe2\x80\x99s largest biotechnology company is looking for a Data Quality Management Lead to join our Corporate Data Management and Governance team.



In this role, you will champion building and maintaining an effective data quality management practice at STEMCELL, interacting with business analysts, data owners, data management and IT professionals. You will design data quality management policies and standards, establish a process, and implement data quality management software.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with data owners to collect data quality requirements, define data quality business rules, and develop data quality monitoring jobs, alerts, and reports
• Implement data quality management processes and procedures, their roles and responsibilities, and define metrics to demonstrate the data quality management efficiency and its impact on business outcomes
• Lead the adoption of data quality management software and practice, design improvements of data quality software, standards, and processes
• Participate in software implementation projects, data migrations, and data preparation initiatives and apply data quality tools and techniques to resolve data quality issues
• Perform root cause analysis and make recommendations on continuous improvement of data entry procedures, data validation rules, data model, and data integration
• Lead and execute operational data quality management to monitor and control the data quality and maintain documentation and training materials

Knowledge and Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience
• A deep understanding of Data Quality Management methodologies and best practices
• Must-have experience in implementing data quality management software, and driving continuous improvement in data quality
• Desirable leadership experience in delivering data management solutions (e.g. Metadata, Master Data Management or Data Quality)
