Who You Are: You are a dynamic Real World Data Management Lead, interested in challenging the status quo, by having a deep understanding of managing and analyzing current and emerging person-level data opportunities with processes and value drivers for the business. You will contribute to solutions that derive insights from data and you will ensure the quality, usability and security of Sanofi’s real world data ecosystem. You are analytical, creative, and collaborative. You have keen attention to detail and take the time to understand our stakeholders’ data needs and challenges. You continually seek to improve your knowledge of new technologies and industry standards to drive the development of simple, yet effective solutions. You enjoy partnering with stakeholders to design and implement data management best practices and procedures. You are a self-starter, see challenges as opportunities, and are results oriented. Job Highlights:
  • Develop detailed knowledge of Sanofi’s data, data flows, and processes
  • Perform data analysis and provide input to solution design and architecture to ensure the solution meets requirements.
  • Extract, aggregate, manipulate, categorize, clean, and transform data associated within an identified problem space.
  • Partner with stakeholders to get buy-in on, develop, and implement Sanofi’s data management standards, policies, and best practices
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders on enterprise data models and definitions
  • Develop and implement procedures for effective data management aligned with FAIR principles
  • Perform exploratory data analysis and feature generation
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Recommend KPIs and develop reports to monitor adoption of and adherence to data management standards
  • Share regular updates with stakeholders regarding proposed solutions, timelines, progress, and issues
  • Participate in testing activities to ensure data integrations are properly implemented
  • Develop and implement rules and procedures for data sharing, and ensure compliance with data usage policies
  • Contribute changes and/or improvements to data governance processes
  • Engage in and lead cross-functional project teams including technical and subject matter experts to execute data management projects
  • Regularly evaluate health of data assets and identify potential impact on downstream analysis

Key Technical Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in data management
  • Understanding of privacy laws and regulations and experience working with private and sensitive personal information
  • Strong understanding of databases and data structures
  • Strong experience in SQL writing and profiling of Data via statistical methods
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, quantify, and effectively raise business risks associated with data quality or non-compliance
  • Expertise in Python or R
  • Exposure to tools used to support data management, specifically business glossary and metadata management, data cataloging, and data quality
  • Knowledge of Informatica Suite of Tools
  • Experience developing best practices, policies, and/or procedures
