Residing within the TD Enterprise Protect organization, the Technology team for Global Anti-Money Laundering, Global Security Investigations, Legal and Compliance is reponsible for the delivery and support of technology solutions for the respective business areas. Given the ongoing pace of regulatory change and ongoing importance of risk management, this is a fast-growing area within the bank translating into considerable demand and growth within its technology teams. About This Role
The role will lead and grow a data practice within the technology team servicing TD\xe2\x80\x99s AML, Legal, Compliance and Global Security business units. The applications in this space are heavy consumers of data from across the enterprise and it is essential to have strong data practices and engineering processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of the data feeding critical business functions. The role will initially focus on a large scale AML solution replacement program with expectation that it will expand to the broader Compliance, Legal, AML and Global Securities technology portfolio. Here\xe2\x80\x99s some of what you may be asked to perform:

• Leading a team of technology Data Analysts / Data Specialists responsible for design, development and quality assurance of Data Management solutions to support AML applications and business functions
• Establishing and implementing strong data governance processes and tools to support data needs for AML projects and applications, providing appropriate data linage, audit and reporting abilities
• Work with vendors and TD technology solution designers to ensure systems are designed appropriately to meet data processing, reporting and audit requirements
• Work collaboratively with the AML business to understand data requirements and strategic needs and ensure that data solutions are strategically aligned to AML and Enterprise direction
• Work collaboratively with Data as a Service (DaaS) and Source system contacts to ensure appropriate data is serviced from sources, processed correctly in GAML applications and presented to GAML business in alignment to requirements
• Establish and maintain test data processes to support project and application testing needs in alignment to data privacy and security policies
• Support leadership team in strategically planning and building stronger data processes across the portfolio. program, build technical and governance capability across all aspects of data analytics and modeling.
• Grow team expertise and organizational capabilities.
• Provide coaching, development, succession, recruitment, resource management, team leadership, input into performance assessments and development plans.

Requirements
What can you bring to TD? Share your credentials, but your relevant experience and knowledge can be just as likely to get our attention. It helps if you have:

• Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.
• 10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience.
• Complete understanding and expertise with Data warehouse technologies including Database Management Systems, BI Tools and ETLs.
• Advanced knowledge of business, standards, infrastructure, architecture and technology from a design/support/ solutions perspective.
• Expert knowledge of business processes and procedures, as well as broader organizational issues and technology.
• Strong communication skills with senior business and technology audiences with ability to translate technical concepts into easy-to-understand business language
• Extensive functional and technical knowledge of advanced analytics processes (building automated processes for data acquisition and analysis), systems and methods for prevention, detection and management of financial crimes.
• Ability to assume a senior role requiring significant people management experience and specialized knowledge of advanced data analytics within the context of a global bank.

Additional Information

• At TD we support a hybrid working model with a focus on ensuring an onsite presence for moments that matter. Due to the nature of the role there is a requirement for on site presence averaging 2 days/week.
